Live Prints from the Ambos Lados Opening

We created 8 prints during the Ambos Lados opening in Albuquerque, on Saturday, February 6th, 2022, at the Outpost Performance Space:

The prints were made on a Tortilla Press, which was innovated by Tres Gatos Press of Guadalajara, Mexico (both Xavier Moreno and Alejandra Mares of Tres Gatos Press participated in Ambos Lados).  Most, but not all, of the prints were from students of the printmaking class by Lyn Pierre at CNM (Central New Mexico Community College).

These prints will be framed and shown in a pop-up show as part of the emerging BUCKET EXHIBITION project.  Specifically we plan to show them with the prints created by Manuel Guerra's students at UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso).  Manuel Guerra organized the Ambos Lados Print Exchange from the US side of the border with Horned Toad Prints.

UPDATE (March 19, 2022):  These prints were hung in El Paso as a pop-up show in the Alameda Art Salvage gallery, next to the Horned Toad Prints print studio:

I believe the pop-up was on March 17th, 2022, and around 80 people came by.
