Tallers en Mexico


Artists all across Mexico manage to set up print studios, small and large.  From the US, Mexico seems like a paradise for printmakers.  Below are some photos of various print studios.

LA CEIBA GRAFICA

La Ceiba Grafica is one of the most impressive print studios in Mexico. They took over an old hacienda in Coatepec (outside of Jalapa, Veracruz) and converted it into a lithography complex.  All the materials used to make lithography prints are sourced in the state of Veracruz, including marble stones (to replace the fine traditional Bavarian limestones).
