Manuel Guerra visiting Taller Grafica Libre in Oaxaca




Manuel Guerra, of Horned Toad Prints, flew to Zaachila, Oaxaca to meet his counterparts at Taller Grafica Libre, Adrian Aguirre and Beatriz Rivas.

Manuel Guerra produced 6 etchings (3 of them collaborations), and one lithography print, during his time at Taller Grafica Libre in Zaachila.

NIDIA ROSALES MORENO

Manny visited with Nidia Rosales Moreno while in Oaxaca.  Nidia runs the Espacio Centro gallery in Oaxaca city, and has been very instrumental in promoting Oaxacan printmakers, and the interaction between foreign printmakers (like us) and Oaxaca.

Taller Bambu is the studio 
of Abraham Torres 

Full Circle.  Abraham Torres gave Krrrl and Tanya  Rich a tour of his printmaking studio, Taller Bambu, when they visited Oaxaca in 2014.  Abraham gave them a tour of many other printmaking studios, and even introduced us to Adrian Aguirre.




Abraham Torres gave Krrrl and Tanya Rich a tour of Taller Tamayo, a printmaking school in Oaxaca in 2014.  They bought a print portfolio from the students pictured below.
