We had a wonderful opening for the Ambos Lados International Print Exchange during the "Art Takeover" at the El Paso Museum of History on March 18th -- the exhibition runs until May 27th July 15th, 2023:

The Ambos Lados International Print Exchange was organized from both sides of the border, by:
- Manuel Guerra of Horned Toad Prints in El Paso
- Adrian Aguirre and Beatriz Rivas of Taller Gráfica Libre of Zaachila, Oaxaca.
The Ambos Lados opening was well attended at the El Paso Museum of History on Saturday, March 18th:
We had live printmaking during the opening -- when visitors drew on a Styrofoam plate and we printed it with our feet:
The gallery was beautiful, as all 158 prints filled it up nicely:
Marina Monsisvais interviewed Manuel Guerra for the "State of the Arts" program on KTEP radio (from the University of Texas at El Paso):

CLOSING
UPDATE: We had a great closing on July 15th. There were three main activities:
- Vanessa Ramirez of the Fashion Technology Program at El Paso Community College, put on a Block Printing Workshop making t-shirts, using motifs from the Ambos Lados prints.
- Aron Venegas made prints on a tortilla press
- Manuel Guerra and Tres Gatos Press live streamed from Guadalajara, where they were printing in a tianguis market, using some of the linocut plates to make temporary tattoos:

Next project: Exquisite Linocuts. We cut a stack of three 6x6 linoleum squares in the shape of the Rio Grande, and will pass the upper halves to artists in El Paso, and the lower halves to artists in Ciudad Juarez. Then we will join and print the two halves, making 9 different prints, in the spirit of Exquisite Corpse art game:

- The Desert Triangle Print Carpeta (which includes many Ambos Lados artists) will be exhibited at the University of Arizona Art Museum in Tucson from May 27th to December 21st, 2023.
